BEHIND THE LENS

I grew up in Benson, Minnesota where my love for photography began. I was a sophomore in high school. The local theatre was playing "The Promise".  While walking home that night after the movie I thought,

wow ~ what a cool job. (Obviously it was Photography) 

 

And so it began… I saved my Dairy Queen paychecks and purchased my first Yoshika 35MM camera. I spent much of my time with that camera.  After graduation I moved to Burnsville, MN attending Dakota County Technical College studying Photographic Technology. Upon graduation I managed a photo lab downtown Minneapolis.

I met my husband Bill at college, he was seeking a degree in gourmet cooking. We have three wonderful children together Billy, Ty and Alli.

 

Forever Yours Photography was established in 1994, two years after we moved to Wyoming, MN. I started out photographing weddings then eventually family, seniors, children, etc. I now mostly photograph  seniors, dance studios, biz headshots and family.

  

If I’m not behind a camera, my favorite hobbies include spending time with my family, hiking, sewing, reupholstering and gardening. My ultimate favorite hobby is taking trash to treasure.
